Bassano del Grappa is a city and comune, in the Vicenza province, in the region of Veneto, in northern Italy. It bounds the communes of Cassola, Marostica, Solagna, Pove del Grappa, Romano d'Ezzelino, Valbrenta, Lusiana Conco, Rosà, Cartigliano and Nove. Some neighbourhoods of these communes have become in practice a part of the urban area of Bassano, so that the population of the whole conurbation totals around 70,000 people.

As WE explore this idyllic town, YOU will discover its rich history and culture, from the iconic Ponte degli Alpini bridge crossing the Brenta River to the famous Grappa distilleries that have been producing the region’s signature drink for centuries.

One of the must-see attractions is the Museo degli Alpini, a museum dedicated to the legendary Italian Alpine soldiers. The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts and memorabilia, including uniforms, weapons, and photographs, that tell the story of this elite military unit.
