Invergarry is a village in the Highlands of Scotland, located about 25 miles (40 km) north-east of Fort William in the Great Glen. The name means "confluence of the River Garry " in Gaelic and fittingly, Invergarry is near where the river flows into Loch Oich.
As you arrive in Invergarry, you'll immediately be struck by the tranquility and peacefulness of the area. This is the perfect destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in Scotland's rugged natural beauty.
One of Invergarry's most iconic landmarks is the stunning Invergarry Castle. This 17th-century stronghold was once the seat of the Clan MacDonnell of Glengarry and has now been lovingly restored to its former glory. As you explore the castle, you'll be transported back in time to a bygone era of Scottish history.
