Abbadia Lariana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) northwest of Lecco. The village has about 3,280 inhabitants and its name comes from an abbey founded in the 9th century and later destroyed.

As you arrive in Abbadia Lariana, you will be immediately struck by its natural beauty. The town is surrounded by lush hills, which provide a stunning backdrop to the crystal-clear waters of Lake Como. Take a stroll along the lakeside promenade and marvel at the colorful boats bobbing in the water. For a more active adventure, rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore the lake at your own pace.

Abbadia Lariana is also rich in history and culture. Visit the Abbazia di San Pietro al Monte, a Benedictine monastery founded in the 11th century and perched atop a hill overlooking the town.
