Mahon, historically known as Port Mahon in English, officially and in Catalan Maó, is the capital and second largest city of the island of Menorca, Spain. The city is on the eastern coast of the island, which is part of the archipelago and autonomous community of the Balearic Islands.

One of the most striking features of Mahón is its natural harbor, one of the largest in the world. You can take a stroll along the harbor and watch the boats come and go, or even take a boat tour to explore the coastline. If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a kayak or paddleboard to get a closer look at the crystal-clear waters.

But Mahón isn't just about the harbor. The town is full of history, with landmarks such as the Santa Maria Church and the Museum of Menorca. You can also explore the narrow streets of the old town, which are lined with traditional houses and shops selling local crafts.
