Betina is a village located on the Croatian island of Murter, seven kilometers from Tisno, where a drawbridge connects the island and the mainland. The largest of the Šibenik archipelago islands, and the closest to the mainland, it has been populated since the time of the Illyrians. Remains of the Roman settlement of Colentum as well as many ruins of Roman villas, murals, and mosaics testify to its occupation during the period of the Roman Empire.
Nestled in the heart of the Adriatic Sea, Betina is a picturesque fishing village located on the island of Murter. The town is famous for its traditional wooden shipbuilding, which has been passed down from generations. As soon as YOU arrive, YOU will be greeted by the stunning marina filled with fishing boats and old wooden ships.
The town's narrow streets and buildings made of natural stone give it a unique and authentic Mediterranean feel. The breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding landscapes are sure to leave YOU speechless.
