Chambres d'hôtes Maison Auguste

Salon-de-Provence, commonly known as Salon, is a commune located about 52 km (32 mi) northwest of Marseille in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, southern France. It is the home of an important French Air and Space Force air base.

As you wander the winding streets of Salon-de-Provence, you'll be transported back in time. This town has been inhabited since Roman times, and you can still see remnants of its ancient past today. One of the most impressive sights in Salon-de-Provence is the Château de l'Empéri, a medieval castle that has stood guard over the town for centuries.

But Salon-de-Provence isn't just about history. It's also a hub of Provençal culture. You'll find bustling markets selling fresh produce and handmade crafts, as well as lively restaurants and bars serving up local specialties like bouillabaisse and pastis. And if you're a fan of fragrance, you can't miss the famous Fragonard perfume museum, where you can learn about the art of perfume-making and even create your own scent.
