Bucerías meaning "Divers town" ("diving"), is a small Mexican beach resort town in the state of Nayarit on a stretch of Pacific coast known as the Riviera Nayarit, on and in the Bay and municipality of Banderas, between La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Nuevo Nayarit. Its former name was Santa Julia de las Tablas.

Bucerías is known for its long stretches of white sand beaches, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. The town's main beach, Playa de Bucerías, is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, offering crystal clear waters and soft sand. For those seeking a quieter beach experience, Playa Destiladeras is just a short drive away and offers a more secluded option.

In addition to its beaches, Bucerías is home to a vibrant art scene. The town is dotted with colorful galleries and studios showcasing the works of local artists. You can also take a stroll along the main street, Lazaro Cardenas, to browse the shops and pick up some souvenirs.
