It is famous as the location of the Cadfan Stone, a stone cross with the earliest known example of written Welsh, and the home of the Talyllyn Railway. It has a population of 3264.
Tywyn is a small but charming seaside town that boasts breathtaking views of the Welsh coastline and the Snowdonia National Park. The town is also home to some of the most stunning beaches in the UK, including Tywyn Beach, which stretches for miles along the coast and offers plenty of opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and watersports.
In addition to its beautiful beaches, Tywyn is also home to a number of historical and cultural attractions, including the Talyllyn Railway, an iconic narrow-gauge railway that dates back to the mid-19th century.
