Sestri Levante is a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Genoa, Liguria, Italy. Lying on the Ligurian Sea, it is set on a promontory approximately 40 km south-east of Genoa. Nearby Portofino and the Cinque Terre are better-known as tourist destinations on the Italian Riviera, but Sestri Levante has become popular among Italians. This once quiet fishing village is now popular with tourists, and has an old and a new town.

As you wander through the winding streets of this coastal town, you'll be greeted with colorful buildings, quaint cafes, and stunning views of the sea. The beaches in Sestri Levante are some of the most beautiful in Italy, with crystal clear waters and soft sand that invite you to soak up the sun and take a refreshing dip in the sea.

For those looking for adventure, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. Take a hike through the hills for breathtaking views of the coastline, or rent a bike and explore the town on two wheels. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even try your hand at windsurfing, sailing, or kayaking.
