Pachuca, formally known as Pachuca de Soto, is the capital and largest city of the east-central Mexican state of Hidalgo, located in the south-central part of the state. Pachuca de Soto is also the name of the municipality for which the city serves as municipal seat. Pachuca is located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Mexico City via Mexican Federal Highway 85.

Pachuca de Soto offers a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty that will leave you mesmerized. One of the main attractions is the Real del Monte, a small mining town with a rich history dating back to the 18th century. Here, you can explore the old mines, visit the impressive Hidalgo State Mining Museum, and taste the famous "pastes," a pastry filled with meat, vegetables, or sweet flavors.

Another must-see is the stunning Monumental Clock, considered the largest in Latin America. This clock was built in 1910 to commemorate the centennial of Mexico's Independence and features beautiful stained glass windows and intricate details.
