Hotel Dafam Semarang

Semarang is the capital and largest city of Central Java province in Indonesia. It was a major port during the Dutch colonial era, and is still an important regional center and port today. The city has been named as the cleanest tourist destination in Southeast Asia by the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Standard (ACTCS) for 2020–2022.

As WE explore the city, YOU will notice the fusion of Chinese, Javanese, and Dutch influences in its architecture, food, and traditions. One of the must-visit places in Semarang is the Old Town area, where the iconic Blenduk Church and Lawang Sewu building stand tall as reminders of the city's colonial past.

If you're a foodie, Semarang is the place to be! Indulge in the city's signature dish, Lumpia Semarang, a savory spring roll filled with bamboo shoots, chicken, and shrimp. Don't forget to try out other local delicacies such as Tahu Gimbal (fried tofu with peanut sauce and vegetables) and Soto Ayam (chicken soup with rice noodles).
