Lloret de Mar is a Mediterranean coastal town in Catalonia, Spain. It is 40 kilometres south of Girona and 75 kilometres northeast of Barcelona. With a population of 38,402 in 2021, it is the second largest town in the Selva comarca of Catalonia.

As you stroll through the town, you'll be struck by the beautiful architecture that surrounds you. Lloret de Mar is home to several historic buildings, including the Castle of Sant Joan, which dates back to the 11th century, and the Church of Sant Romà, a Gothic-style church that dates back to the 16th century. These buildings are a testament to the town's rich history and add to its charm.

Of course, one of the main draws of Lloret de Mar is its beautiful beaches. There are several to choose from, each with its own unique character. Fenals Beach is known for its crystal-clear waters and soft sand, while Santa Cristina Beach is a bit quieter and more secluded. And if you're looking for a bit of adventure, you can even try your hand at water sports like jet skiing or parasailing.
