Victoria Falls is a waterfall on the Zambezi River, located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is one of the world's largest waterfalls, with a width of 1,708 m (5,604 ft). The region around it has a high degree of biodiversity in both plants and animals.
As you approach the falls, the sound of the roaring water will leave you in awe. The Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall in the world, measuring a staggering 1,708 meters wide and 108 meters high. The falls are located on the Zambezi River, which borders Zimbabwe and Zambia, making it accessible from both countries.
The falls are known as Mosi-oa-Tunya, which means "the smoke that thunders" in the local language. This name perfectly describes the falls as the mist that rises from the water creates a smoke-like effect. The best time to visit Victoria Falls is during the rainy season, from November to April, when the water levels are at their peak, and the falls are at their most impressive.
