Once visited by Oliver Cromwell and Henry VI, parts of Irton Hall date back to the 14th century. It retains traditional timber framing and other charming features, but offers modern amenities like free Wi-Fi.

There are traditionally furnished rooms in the 14th-century tower, the converted ballroom, and separate self-catering apartments. All have a flat-screen TV, iPod dock, tea/coffee and a spacious modern bathroom.
