Located on the Seine in the centre of the Île-de-France region, it is the largest metropolitan area and fourth-most populous city in the European Union (EU). Paris is nicknamed the "City of Light" mainly due to its leading role in the Age of Enlightenment.

Paris is a small town with a rich history and culture. Founded in 1775, it was named after the French capital as a tribute to France's support during the American Revolution. The town's historic downtown district is lined with beautiful 19th-century architecture and charming boutiques, antique shops, and restaurants.

One of the most popular attractions in Paris is the Bourbon County Courthouse, a stunning example of classical architecture that was built in 1903. The courthouse is located in the heart of downtown and is surrounded by a beautiful park that is perfect for a picnic or a leisurely stroll.
