La Casona de Cerro Colonial

A trapiche is a mill made of wooden rollers used to extract juice from fruit, originally olives, and since the Middle Ages, sugar cane as well. By extension the word is also sometimes applied to the location of the mill, whether the workshop or the entire plantation.

Located in the San Luis Province, Trapiche is a hidden gem that boasts stunning landscapes and a rich cultural heritage. With its rolling hills, lush greenery, and clear blue skies, this charming town is the perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

One of the main attractions in Trapiche is the Cerro de la Cruz, a hill that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. If you're up for a hike, the trail to the top of the hill is well worth the effort. Along the way, you'll encounter a variety of plant and animal species that are unique to the area.
