Nanyuki is a market town in Laikipia County, Kenya, located northwest of Mount Kenya along the A2 road and at the terminus of the branch railway from Nairobi. The name is derived from the Maasai word "Enyaanyukie," which means "resemblance."

Nanyuki is situated at the foothills of Mount Kenya, the second-highest mountain in Africa. The town is surrounded by lush green forests, vast open plains and scenic rivers, making it a paradise for nature lovers. YOU can take a stroll through the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the endangered black and white rhinos, lions, elephants and other wildlife. Or, if YOU prefer something more adventurous, go on a camel trek, hike up Mount Kenya or even go skydiving!
