Milton Keynes is a city in Buckinghamshire, England, about 50 miles (80 km) north-west of London. At the 2021 census, the population of its urban area was 264,349. The River Great Ouse forms the northern boundary of the urban area; a tributary, the River Ouzel, meanders through its linear parks and balancing lakes. Approximately 25% of the urban area is parkland or woodland, including two Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs). By design, the city comprises many well-delineated neighbourhoods.

Milton Keynes is often referred to as the "New City" as it was only established in 1967. Despite its relatively young age, it has quickly become a popular destination for travelers from all over the world. The town is well-known for its grid-like road system, which was designed to make traveling around the city easy and efficient.

One of the most popular attractions in Milton Keynes is the Bletchley Park, which played a crucial role in the Second World War as the headquarters of the codebreakers. It is now a museum and heritage site, open to visitors who want to learn about the history of cryptography and the people who made it all possible.
