Panarea is the smallest of the seven inhabited Aeolian Islands, a volcanic island chain in north of Sicily, southern Italy. It is a frazione of the comune of Lipari. There are currently about 280 residents living on the island year-round; however the population increases dramatically in summer with the influx of tourists especially during the months of July and August. In recent years, the island has become known internationally for its celebrity visitors.

Panarea is a small but stunning island that offers visitors an opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With its crystal clear waters, rocky cliffs, and rugged coastline, this island is a true paradise for nature lovers. The island is also a popular destination for those looking to experience the unique culture and lifestyle of Southern Italy.

One of the most popular activities on Panarea is exploring the island's many coves and beaches. From the stunning sandy beaches of Cala Junco and Cala Zimmari, to the more secluded coves of Cala degli Zimmari and Cala degli Innamorati, there is something for everyone. You can even take a boat tour around the island to see all of its hidden gems.
