They were known for their impressive architectural feats, including the construction of the largest pyramid in the world, the Great Pyramid of Cholula. However, the exact location of their settlements remained a mystery for many years.
Recent archaeological excavations have shed light on the location of the Cholula tribe's settlements. The ancient city of Cholula is located in the present-day state of Puebla, Mexico. It is believed that the city was first inhabited around 500 BC and reached its peak in the 7th century AD.
The Great Pyramid of Cholula is located in the center of the city and is believed to have been built in several stages over a period of several centuries. The pyramid is over 400 feet wide and 177 feet high, making it the largest pyramid in the world by volume.
