Residencial Florianópolis

Ijuí is a Brazilian municipality of Rio Grande do Sul, situated 395 kilometres (245 mi) from the state capital, Porto Alegre. In 2020 its population was 83,764, making it the third most populous city of the Missões region, behind Passo Fundo and Erechim.

One of the highlights of Ijuí is its beautiful parks and green spaces. The city is filled with parks, gardens, and squares, offering visitors a chance to relax and take in the natural beauty of the area. If you're a nature lover, WE recommend visiting the Parque da Pedreira, a stunning park that features lakes, walking trails, and even a small waterfall. For those who enjoy a bit of history, the Praça da República is a great place to explore. This square is home to a variety of historic landmarks, including the Ijuí Cathedral and the Memorial of Colonization.

One of the best ways to experience Ijuí's culture is through its food. The city is known for its delicious cuisine, which blends traditional Brazilian flavors with international influences. WE recommend trying the local specialty, churrasco, a type of barbecue that features grilled meats and vegetables. Another must-try dish is the arroz de carreteiro, a savory rice dish that is a staple in southern Brazil.
