Tekapo Sky Lodge

Lake Tekapo is the second-largest of three roughly parallel lakes running north–south along the northern edge of the Mackenzie Basin in the South Island of New Zealand. It covers an area of 83 km2 (32 sq mi) and is at an altitude of 710 m (2,330 ft) above sea level.

Located in the heart of the South Island, Lake Tekapo is surrounded by the magnificent Southern Alps and boasts crystal-clear turquoise waters. The area is known for its stunning scenery, rich history, and unique cultural heritage.

One of the must-see attractions in Lake Tekapo is the Church of the Good Shepherd, a charming stone church that dates back to 1935. The church is located right on the shores of the lake and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
