The Approach Hotel

A panorama is any wide-angle view or representation of a physical space, whether in painting, drawing, photography, film, seismic images, or 3D modeling. The word was coined in the 18th century by the English painter Robert Barker to describe his panoramic paintings of Edinburgh and London. The motion-picture term panning is derived from panorama.

Panorama boasts a variety of activities for every type of traveler. For the adrenaline junkies, there are plenty of outdoor adventures to choose from. You can go whitewater rafting, zip-lining, or take a scenic helicopter ride to get a bird's eye view of the stunning surroundings. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, you can take a leisurely hike or bike ride along the many trails that wind through the mountains.

One of the main attractions in Panorama is the ski resort. With over 4,000 acres of skiable terrain and 120 runs, this resort offers something for every level of skier or snowboarder. The resort also boasts some of the best après-ski activities in the area, with live music and delicious food and drinks.
