The Bedford Inn

Kent is a ceremonial county in South East England. It is bordered by Essex across the Thames Estuary to the north, the Strait of Dover to the south-east, East Sussex to the south-west, Surrey to the west, and Greater London to the north-west.

First and foremost, Kent is home to some of the most iconic landmarks in England, including the world-famous white cliffs of Dover. These stunning cliffs offer panoramic views of the English Channel and are a symbol of Britain's resilience during World War II. Another must-see attraction is the Canterbury Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest and most famous Christian structures in England.

If you're a nature lover, Kent won't disappoint either. The county is home to numerous parks and gardens, including the stunning Leeds Castle, surrounded by a moat and set in picturesque gardens. The Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest is another popular destination for nature enthusiasts, with its extensive collection of conifer trees and cycling trails.
