Windhoek is the capital and largest city of Namibia. It is located in central Namibia on the Khomas Highland plateau area, at around 1,700 m (5,600 ft) above sea level in the geographical centre of the country. The population was 486,186 in 2023, and growing, due to migration from other regions in Namibia.

As you arrive in Windhoek, you will immediately be struck by its unique blend of cultures and influences. The city is a melting pot of German and African heritage, resulting in a fascinating fusion of architecture, cuisine, and traditions.
